This is mostly because of private reasons like depression and some other shit c:

Lana Del Rey

Recognize her? Maybe, maybe not. She's not that famous, yet.

Her artist name is Lana Del Rey, though her real name is Lizzy Grant.

I absolutely adore her music and can't stop listening to any of her songs,

I hate it that she's getting more and more famous since I worry that the media will change

her into one of those typical pop-artists. I really, really don't want her to loose all her

awesomeness just because the media wants her to be in a certain way.

ANYWAYS

I started drawing her yesterday, I'm drawing her on an aquarelle A3-paper (42x30 centimeter).

This is the first time I'm drawing realism on such a big paper, I'm used to drawing on A4-paper

and smaller papers, so this is going to be interesting! :)

I love how it's turned out this far, and I hope to it keep that way!<3

Oh, and sorry for not being active lately, I've had art-block... and I

think I still have it, I'm amazed every minute I manage to continue on this drawing xD<3

"Old"-ish drawings!

Something I drew some time ago...</3

 The arm is too short, I know ^^' still like it though~

I saw a photo somewhere and decided to draw it c: I'm so bad at drawing landscapes/rooms etc, so I thought I'd practice a bit P:

Practiced at drawing different poses, and drawing clothes ^_^~

If you can't tell, it's supposed to be my version of Rapunzel, 

I was inspired by the movie "Tangled" :3

I used a reference here, the person in the photo is a girl I hardly know. We're friends on facebook but I've never met her in real life or actually talked/typed with her Px

I saw her profile picture and wanted to draw her, I don't think I succeeded in making it look like her so I won't tell her I drew her x'3

I still like the result though~ ^_^

Sooooo yeah, I've started to paint with aquarelle a lot lately! I can't seem to stop painting! the ideas just keep coming o: 

Oh, and don't sketch before painting with aquarelle. 

I only use aquarelle, no pencils or whatever. The only things I use are a brush, paper and aquarelle~<3

Aquarelle!

I got some aquarelle colors from my art teacher today,

she's noticed that I haven't been feeling well lately. Since I know her since a few years back

(before I even started going to the school she's working at)

she was worried for me.

So to give me a bit of a confidence and an inspiration boost she gave me these aquarelle colors!

That was really nice of her wasn't it? ;-;

She also gave me this assignment, or I should probably say she suggested I'd do something to make me inspired...

She said that I could paint something every single day during summer (ofcourse it wouldn't hurt to start now ^^) with these aquarelle colors. They are easy to carry around and doesn't weigh much. I have an idea of going to the park where I live where there's lots and lots of beautiful flowers and use them as reference when I paint :3

I also live really close to a lake which looks really pretty during sunset.

Oh, and I have this gorgeous view from my balcony<3

She also said that I should use small papers and paint on them without thinking of what to draw, just... draw o3o I got this idea later on that I could make it into a collage afterwards c:
